Finding the right identity for a premium wood fencing company isn’t easy. For a long time, I searched for a brand name that truly felt right. I sketched out ideas and went through dozens of options, but nothing stood out. Nothing captured the exact mix of rugged durability, high-end craftsmanship, and deep personal meaning that I wanted my business to represent.
The breakthrough happened completely by accident in my own backyard.
I was installing a fence statue that I had recently purchased at an outdoor market in Ataco, El Salvador, just outside the beautiful Coatepeque Lake while visiting for my brother's wedding. The statue was striking—it had a beautiful, proud expression, yet it was crafted from the simplest, most grounded materials: raw river stone and rebar. As I was screwing it into the wood of my fence, I looked closely at the design and it hit me.
The statue was an ant.
Standing there with my drill in hand, looking at this humble yet powerful creature fixed against the timber, everything clicked. I realized that the perfect brand identity had been right in front of me. Ants are nature's ultimate perimeter builders and structural installers. Their natural behaviors and extraordinary colonies provide the exact blueprint for how we source our timber, treat your property, and build your fence.
